[MCDOT Sales LLC] (“MCDOT Sales”, “we”) runs this website to connect buyers and sellers of trucking companies. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, phone and state.
- Details about a company you want to buy or sell, such as USDOT number, authority date, safety record, revenue and asking price.
- Documents you upload to a deal’s data room, such as insurance loss runs, bank statements and corporate records.
- Account information: your email, a securely hashed password and your role (buyer or seller).
- Basic technical data our hosting providers log automatically, such as IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, qualify buyers, value and list companies, and run each sale.
- To share a seller’s identifying details and documents with a buyer only after that buyer signs an NDA.
- To send account emails (confirmation, password reset) and updates about your deal.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, login and file storage) and Resend (email). The other party to your deal sees the details needed for that deal. We may disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
